The purpose of this page is to give a quick summary
of useful info to fellow travellers from a recent trip to 
Firstly ---- if you are reading this then you
know how to research the Internet. Now take that Guidebook and leave it in your
Hotel room !!!! Some people will be offended by this but ---- I find
it incredibly amusing and a little saddened to see travellers wandering around
clutching their guidebooks as if they are bibles for the road to enlightenment.
The guidebook is a “guide book” !!! It is often out
of date, selective and is bloody heavy. 
Slavishly following the
suggested route/ restaurants/ hotels/ sights/ timetable is doing yourself and
the destination little justice.
Use the internet ---- book hotels; scan bulletin boards for traveller info; check websites ---- ‘cut&paste’ it into a double-sided printable document and then email it to yourself so you can reprint it from wherever. What you end up with is a very light, flexible source of relevant information that is portable and valid. Do yourself a favour ! (see the Favorite Links page for some starter sites)
